Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to a diverse range of students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic success.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of Design and Technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
