Employability Tutor
Position Overview
Location: College in Hull
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until 1st July
Role Type: Part-time (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Salary: £20-£26 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
Join our team as an Employability Tutor at a reputable college in Hull. We are seeking a motivated individual to work with students who are not in employment, training, or education (NEET). The successful candidate will create a positive and motivational environment to help students achieve qualifications and pursue employment opportunities for September.
Duties of an Employability Tutor:
- Deliver engaging sessions to support students in developing employability skills.
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students, including CV writing and interview preparation.
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative employability programs.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
- Liaise with external agencies and employers to arrange work placements and job opportunities.
- Organise workshops and events to enhance students' employability prospects.
Requirements for Working with Tradewind:
- Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Submit a CV with full career history.
- Provide at least two satisfactory references.
- Hold valid right to work in the UK.
