Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a full time English teacher to work in one of our partnership schools in Hull! This role is to start ASAP (8th April) and will last until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend into the new academic year.
Position: Full-time English Teacher
Location: Hull
Start Date: April 8th, 2024
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Salary: In line with Main Teaching Pay Scale
(Between £153.85 and £211.96 per day)
Duties of an English Teacher:
- Develop and deliver engaging English lessons to students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
- Support students with their academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant experience teaching English, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Tradewind Recruitment Requirements:
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 satisfactory references.
- Comprehensive CV detailing full career history.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
