This post would suit a NQT or a more experienced English Teacher looking to broaden their experience.

If successful you will be joining high-performing department with experience colleagues whose role is to support you through the next stages of your professional development. You will report to the Head of Department and would be responsible to provide the full learning experience and support the students. You will also promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the Form Tutor Group as a whole. You will liaise with a Pastoral Leader to ensure the implementation of the school's Pastoral System. Students are well-behaved and are a credit to them. They expect and require high standards of behaviour from students at all times.

You would be involved in the school's staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development. You will be offered continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods. Engage actively in the Performance Management Review process. The school will ensure the effective/efficient deployment of classroom support.
