We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher to inspire and support our children's early learning and development on a full-time basis.

Job Description: As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our children's educational journey. You will create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play-based activities. Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians, you will deliver a rich and engaging curriculum that promotes children's social, emotional, and academic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating learning experiences that are tailored to the needs and interests of young children, in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, building trust and confidence to support their individual learning and well-being.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians and adapting teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equality, and respect for all children and families.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a holistic curriculum that encompasses all areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to enhance teaching practice and contribute to school improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in the EYFS phase.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework, child development principles, and effective pedagogical practices.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a supportive team within a dynamic and inclusive school community.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
