Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a part time Functional Skills Maths Tutor.

We are looking for the kind of Functional Skills Maths Tutor that can recognise when challenging behaviour is down to lack of understanding and low self-esteem and are able to reach out to those learners and build them back up. We need a Functional Skills Tutor that gets excited by writing schemes of work that engage students across all walks of life and abilities getting them actively involved in learning.

The role is to work with an external training provider delivering Maths level 2. You will be expected to plan and deliver a timetable to adult learners.

This is a part time, temporary position to start immediately to July 2019 initially, with a daily rate of £120 to £150 per day.

We are looking for:

*An experienced Functional Skills Tutor who and who has excellent subject knowledge
*A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role
*A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT

The school is really accessible as it is on a regular bus route but also has lots of free parking onsite
