Tradewind are currently working with a heavily over-subscribed boys' comprehensive secondary school in Barnet who are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time, long term basis from September 2019. This role will suit a recent graduate from any specialism, however graduates with degrees in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography or History would be highly regarded.

This is a full time, one-year contract with a possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. As a graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working with student across Key stages 3, 4 and 5 in multiple subjects.

Your role is to support the learning needs of students who require assistance in accessing the curriculum or who need additional challenge in order to extend their learning. Some of the students you work with will have mild to moderate learning difficulties and special needs which will see you running small group and individual intervention lessons to facilitate academic, social and emotional improvement.

The successful candidate for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will:
*Have a strong academic background; hold a minimum 2:1 degree and have strong A Levels and GCSE

*Have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as a part of a team
