The school will interview interested applicants immediately and well within your current notice period should you be considering a September 2024 start.

As a result of the current Head of RE relocating at Easter 2024, the school are keen to recruit a suitable replacement as soon as possible. The school have made temporary provisions to cover the post for the rest of the academic year, however, would welcome those Head of RE/RE Teachers keen to commence from the Easter 2024 break.

The school are happy to consider CVs from existing Heads of RE or those looking to take progress in their career from the position of RE Teacher at present. A bit about the role;

• Head of RE available to start at Easter 2024/September 2024.
• Working in an excellent school in Ealing, West London.
• Working in a school with a strong SLT and RE Department.
• The vacancy has arisen due to the current Head of RE relocating.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, delivering and assessing RE lessons to a high standard
• Developing a curriculum that is engaging and challenging for all students
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to RE teaching

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience leading an RE department or solid teaching experience and looking for their first HOD role.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
• Will be able to start from Easter/September 2024.

This is a full-time role with the opportunity for a permanent assignment from the beginning for the right applicant.
