Located in the leafy but vibrant London borough of Islington, this traditional secondary school has been providing an excellent education to local students for the past 90 years. Recently the school has gone through massive modernisation which has meant that classrooms have been fully modernised with latest teaching ICT and resources. Behaviour at this school is very good, reinforced by the school's robust behaviour policy - students at this school want to learn and respect their teachers. Humanities subjects at the school are popular and taught through to A-Level with excellent results. This role is an addition to what is a very strong department but has come about due to the popularity of the subject at all levels through to A-Level. The School is in a fortunate position that with the wealth of knowledge they would be able to support an NQT, but could also accommodate an experienced teacher with the potential to take on some responsibility.

About the Role - History Teacher - Islington, North London
As a History Teacher at this school you will be expected to teach good or better lessons on a consistent basis. You will have to be an inspirational character who is not only to inspire your students with your passion for history helping to ensure students are keen to select the subject at both GCSE and A-Level. Although there is good behaviour throughout the school the ability to manage a classroom of 30 lively children is necessary.
