History teacher

Tradewind are recruiting a History teacher to work at a school in the southeast London borough of Lewisham. The History teacher will be required to start in the role in September 2024, up until the end of the academic year 2025. There is an opportunity to be taken onto a full school-based contract should the initial term in the role be a successful one.

The school is based in the Lewisham area, all girls and behaviors are generally good. The teacher will be expected to teach ks3 and ks4 content to pupils and lead classes through a busy examination period. ECT's are encouraged to apply for the position.

  • Opportunity to work until the end of the academic year 2025.
  • Full time position up for grabs.
  • Payments are made a week I arrears and will be paid up the teachers' pay scale (M1-UPS3).
  • ECT's are welcome to apply for the role.
  • Must have gained QTS through a PGCE or other qualification.

To commute to the schools available, Lewisham does have the DLR line which connects to the town centre. There are numerous bus services as well as several train stations (Lewisham and Ladywell) which can get you around easily.
