HLTA or an English Teacher required for an Alternative Provision school in Blackburn
Are you a strong HLTA or an English Teacher with behavioural experience looking for work in Blackburn?
Tradewind are currently looking for an experienced HLTA or an English Teacher to work with children who have behavioural, ASC and social and emotional difficulties needs.
The school is OFSTED rated 'Good' Alternative Provision School in Blackburn. This Alternative Provision school caters for KS2, KS3 and KS4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
They are currently looking for a Behaviour Specialist HLTA or English Teacher with experience to deliver a variety of lessons to KS3, managing up to a maximum of 8 pupils. This is a full time/long term post starting after as soon as possible until July 204 and has the potential to go permanent.
We are looking for:
- Strong behaviour and classroom management
- Experience working with students with behavioural, ASC and social and emotional difficulties needs
- Commitment to the school and their students
- Degree or HLTA status
- NQT's welcome (for the right candidate the school would be able to support your NQT year)
The Alternative Provision offers fantastic facilities for their students and staff. Staff are made to feel valued and part of the team. There may be the opportunity to study towards further qualifications and training.
The Alternative Provision school is based in Blackburn with close links to the M65 will a large free car park.
