Job Title: Humanities Teacher (Geography, History, and RE)

Location: Gloucester

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (After the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year)

Salary: Negotiable, starting from £140 per day up to £240 per day based on experience and pay scale.

Are you a dynamic and passionate Humanities Teacher ready to embark on an exciting journey? Join our dedicated team at a school nestled in the scenic city of Gloucester. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to teach Geography, History, and Religious Education up to GCSE level, playing a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual and personal growth of our students.

As a Humanities Teacher, your role is vital in nurturing well-rounded individuals with a strong foundation in humanities. You will contribute to our inclusive and stimulating learning environment, fostering growth and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Geography, History, and RE.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for humanities subjects.
  • Contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography, History, and RE up to GCSE level.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
