We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of ICT to work in a lovely secondary school with outstanding facilities on the island of Guernsey. This position is from January 2020 to July 2020. You will be required to teach up to GCSE only.

In order to achieve this, they will work hard to ensure that they know every member of the school community as an individual; understanding personal strengths, talents and interests as well as providing support for those areas needing further development and guidance.

The successful candidate will be/have:
*Able to commit to one full term on the island of Guernsey, and have no commitments in the UK that may prevent them from staying on the island from January to July.
*A Qualified ICT teacher or Computer Science teacher who can teach up to GCSE
*The ability to work alone, and plan, prepare and deliver exciting and innovating lessons.
*The ability to differentiate as there is a vast range of abilities within the school.
*Strong classroom management, and able to manage any challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
*Comfortable with their own company, or enjoy making friends with the locals and other supply teachers on the island!
*Happy to work on a small island that has around only 63,000 people, a limited amount of shops and restaurants, and with inflated prices (the cost of living is higher than the UK).
