At Tradewind, we are working with schools in Barking to provide them with Qualified Primary School Teachers looking to work in long-term, Key Stage 1 roles!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and collaboration.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a supportive home-school partnership.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Ideally, experience constructing planning based around a Phonics scheme, such as Jolly Phonics or Read Write Inc.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning.
