About the School - KS2 Teacher - Letchworth, North Hertfordshire

Located just outside Letchworth Garden City, North Hertfordshire, this small community Primary first opened its doors as a new build school in 2012. Located in a part of Letchworth where unemployment is higher than the national average this school has many students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. By Year 4 many of the students are working above age expectation in most areas but the school is still working hard to improve writing. As a small school, teachers know all student's names and it has a traditional feel. Staff work well together to deal with issues and are well supported by SLT. As part of a larger Academy group the opportunity for professional development and career progression is a lot higher than you would expect from a single form entry school.

Role requirements - KS2 Teacher - Letchworth, North Hertfordshire

• QTS Primary Teacher with at least 1 year of experience and a completed induction. Must have a passion for KS2 and be keen to take on a Year 4 post.
• Permanent role that is open to committed teachers with a desire to develop a career at this excellent Academy Trust School.
• This is a 'Good' Ofsted School with good behaviour. Teachers must still be able to manage and motivate a lively class, helping them to make sustained progress daily.
