Role and Responsibilities: As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of the students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
  2. Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
  3. Conducting assessments to track student progress and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  5. Building positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  6. Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  2. Experience teaching in KS1, with a focus on Year 1.
  3. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. A passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  6. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
