We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our KS1 (Key Stage 1) team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children, helping to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 students.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their learning.
  • Promoting positive behaviour management strategies and fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Supporting students during group activities and independent learning tasks.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and academic progress of all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
