Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a school in Sheffield on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the KS1 class teachers to support the academic and social development of the students. The role is for 5 days a week, 8.30am-3.30pm each day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Contribute to planning and preparation of learning materials.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience required.
