About the Role - Lead Practitioner Science - Southwark, South East London
*The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a well-established and highly successful Science department to teach Science across all key stages, from Year 7 to Year 13 and support teachers in the Sciences department within the Lead Practitioner post.
*Within the role, you will be expected to promote excellence within the department and lead the department in planning and delivering the KS3 curriculum.
*You will work alongside the Head of Science to monitor students' progress.
*In addition, the role will require you to ensure the quality of teaching and learning is consistently high and will support the development of a culture of sharing good practise.
*You will need to plan, coordinate and evaluate the maths department's intervention strategies to help improve pupil progress in maths.
*The joining candidate will also need to support teaching and learning and focus on the progress of students through data analysis,
