Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind are searching for full-time Learning Support Assistant! Are you looking to embark on a new role as a teaching assistant in a primary school? Do you have experience working with children with Autism? If so, please get in touch!

An OFSTED 'good' two-form entry primary school in Barking are looking for a Learning Support Assistant from mid-April 2024 until the end of the academic year. This would be a full-time, long-term post with pay rates between £80 to £95 a day.

As a Learning Supporting Assistant, you would have a rewarding role to support a child in Year Two with Autism, helping them to engage with their learning. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children and will be a strong communicator who is keen to act as a positive role model to young learners.

Located in Barking, the primary school has parking on-site and is easily accessible by both bus and train. The primary school aims to provide all their students with a challenging, engaging and safe environment which promotes a lifelong love of learning. From day one, you will be supported by an experienced senior leadership team.

Requirements:

• Have experience working with children and young people, ideally those with Autism.
• Someone who is pro-active in the classroom and takes initiative.
• Ideally, you will have previous experience working in primary schools.
• Live within commutable distance of Barking.
