Our SEN school operates as both a specialized institution and a mainstream school, catering to children with mild learning needs. Position Details:

  • Immediate start until July 2024, with the option to continue into the new academic year
  • Full-time position with the opportunity for career advancement and development
  • Paid trial days will be available for shortlisted candidates
  • Comprehensive SEN CPD provided to support your professional growth

Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with mild learning needs
  • Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Promoting a positive learning environment and fostering independence in students
  • Participating in educational school trips and activity days to enhance students' learning experiences

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students' learning and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
