Job Title: Full-Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: South Liverpool, Primary School

As we continue to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide valuable support to our teachers and contribute to the overall success of our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and helping to create a positive and enriching learning environment for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, mutual respect, and active participation.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers to support ongoing learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
