Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor

Location: London Borough of Croydon

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and ensure the well-being and safety of our students during lunch breaks. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere during lunchtime activities, fostering social interaction, and assisting students with special needs as they navigate this important part of their day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunch breaks, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and inclusive behavior among students.
  • Assist students with special needs with eating, mobility, and other tasks as required.
  • Implement and enforce school rules and procedures during lunchtime activities.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all students.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the well-being and development of children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
