Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Maths Teacher for a large secondary school in the Cheshire West and Chester area . The role is to start after the Easter Holidays and will continue until the end of the academic year. The school are happy to consider applications from NQTs, RQTs or experienced teachers.

This is a large secondary school catering for over 1200 students, the school has a sixth form so there may be the opportunity to teach some A Level Maths. The most recent Ofsted inspection seen the school be graded as Good. The school is accessible by public transport with the closest train station being a 15-minute walk from the school. The school is close by the M56 motorway and is commutable from Warrington, Chester, Wirral and South Manchester.

The successful teacher will be required to:

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Take responsibility for preparation and assessment, following department schemes of work.
• Manage behaviour following school behavioural policies.
• Assist with lunch time and after school duties at the request of the department / Senior Leadership.

To be considered for this Maths Teacher position you must:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Possess excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum.
• Have experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• This position is subject to enhanced DBS clearance, Overseas Police Check (if applicable) and receipt of satisfactory references.
