Position Details:
- Start Date: April 15th, 2024
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension into the new academic year
- Payment: In line with the main teaching pay scale (£153.85 to £211.96 per day)
- Possibility of UPS3 Rate: Negotiable for exceptional candidates
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons to inspire and educate students
- Create and implement lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment
- Attend meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Maths education
- Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to upholding high standards of teaching and learning
Working with Tradewind:
- Possession of a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- At least 2 satisfactory references
- A comprehensive CV with full career history
- Valid right to work in the UK
