Job Advert: Full-Time Maths Teacher

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Duration: 20th May until end of academic year
Salary: £153.85 - £238.59 per day

Are you a dedicated Maths teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in the East Riding of Yorkshire? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and committed Maths teacher to join a reputable school from the 20th of May until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent chance for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain valuable experience before the new school year begins in September.

Duties of a Maths Teacher:

• Delivering engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students.
• Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
• Providing constructive feedback and support to students to aid their academic progress.
• Marking and assessing students' work to track their development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the wider success of the Maths department.
• Maintaining accurate records of students' progress and attendance.

Requirements of a Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Effective communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Requirements for Working with Tradewind:

• A DBS on the update service.
• A CV with full career history.
• At least 2 satisfactory references.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
