Sanza Teaching Agency is proud to represent a warm and vibrant primary school nestled in the heart of the London Borough of Croydon. We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays.

Role Overview:

As the Nursery Manager, you will spearhead the provision of exceptional care and education for our nursery-aged children. You will lead by example, ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of support and guidance in their early years development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, scheduling, and curriculum planning.
  • Provide strong leadership to nursery staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment that meets the individual needs of each child.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open communication and partnership in their child's development.
  • Implement and monitor the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead by example in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursery setting.

Requirements:

  • MUST hold a CACHE Level 3 early years qualification.
  • Proven experience working in a managerial or supervisory role within an early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators to deliver outstanding care and education.
  • Dedication to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to thrive.
