A two-form entry state maintained Primary School is a friendly and supportive school where staff feel valued and children are well behaved.

As the successful Nursery teacher, you will be working in a diverse and multi cultured school that respects children and adults irrespective of religions, faiths, cultures and backgrounds.

This Nursery teaching role commences after the February half term for the rest of the academic year.

The school is offering a long-term rate of between £152 -£190 per day, depending on experience.

This community based Primary School has one Nursery class and as such you will be able to work autonomously while being supported by the Foundation Stage Lead. There is a separate playground used for the Foundation Stage children.

There is a qualified nursery Nurse in the class and a few experienced Teaching Assistants.

The school is accessible from the Docklands Light railway and on bus routes.

Job Requirements

• Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
• Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Experience of teaching Nursery in a mainstream school
