£80 - £100 per day

Are you a Behaviour/ Pastoral Support Assistant looking for a new challenge in a School in Darwen?

Tradewind are currently working in a partnership with a Mainstream Secondary School in the Darwen area to recruit an experienced Pastoral Support Assistant with strong behaviour management to start with them on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible. The role is ongoing and there could be an opportunity for a permanent role for the right person.

The school caters for pupils aged 11- 16-year-olds. You shall be required to work closely with pupils across all key stages.

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will be required to -

Deliver 1-2-1 Support
Work alongside the Behavioural Manager
Attendance
Pastoral

We are looking for:

Dedication to making a positive impact with all pupils.
Knowledge and understanding of working with pupils that have EHC Plans, Social and Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.
Experience of supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour.

As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.
