Key Responsibilities:
🌱 Building trusting relationships with students and offering one-on-one support and guidance.
🌱 Implementing and monitoring strategies to address challenging behaviour and promote positive social interaction.
🌱 Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop tailored support plans for individual students.
🌱 Conducting on-call duties to ensure the safety and security of the campus, including monitoring and intervening in situations as necessary.
🌱 Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students during difficult times, such as family issues or personal crises.
Requirements:
🔍 Previous experience working with young people, preferably within an educational or youth support setting.
🔍 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
🔍 Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
🔍 Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for on-call duties.
🔍 Relevant qualifications in youth work, counselling, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
