About the Role: As a PPA Teacher for Year 5, you will provide valuable support to the teaching team by covering Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time. Working across Year 5 classes, you will deliver engaging lessons and ensure continuity in learning during absence periods. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator seeking a flexible part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across various subject areas in line with the national curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure effective continuity of learning.
  • Support students' learning and development, providing appropriate differentiation as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Maintain accurate records of work covered during PPA time.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5.
  • Excellent understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles.

Pay Rate - from M1 £153.85- M6 £211.96 depening on experience
