Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their learning journey
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and stimulating curriculum that promotes academic achievement and personal development
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a strong sense of community and partnership
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching practice and contribute to school improvement
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos, promoting respect, kindness, and a love for learning in all aspects of school life

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting preferred
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development and self-improvement
