Are you an experienced and flexible teacher who is looking for a part-time intervention and PPA teaching role in Central London in September 2019?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Islington, inner London, who are seeking a flexible Intervention and PPA Teacher to undertake a part-time role for the 2018/19 academic year, on a 0.6 basis. London MPS salary available - £29,664-£40,371, dependent upon experience.

The school have an opportunity for an experienced Primary teacher to teach classes and targeted groups across the school (part-time), and are looking to appoint inspirational, resilient and skilled Primary teachers, to join our highly successful staff team.

For this Part-Time PPA and Intervention teacher role, the school are seeking candidates who:
*Set the highest standards for themselves and pupils
*Be an excellent, positive and inspirational practitioner
*Lead a curriculum area across the school
*Have highly effective communication skills, and a commitment to a collaborative, team approach
*Have excellent subject knowledge across the school, particularly at Year 6
*Have successful core subject leadership experience and skills
*Work well in partnership with parents and governors

The core duties of this Part-Time PPA and Intervention Teacher role are:
*To provide a high quality educational experience for all children by leading learning in school, developing consistent practice in teaching and learning and ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement.
*Take responsibility for teaching all classes across Key Stage 1 and 2, providing cover for teachers' PPA release time, as well as delivering small group intervention lessons with lower ability pupils.
*Demonstrate flexibility in your approach whilst teaching from Year 1 to Year 6 and be consistent with behaviour management in line with the school behaviour policy
