An Ofsted graded "Good" Nursery School in Islington are seeking an EYFS experienced teacher, with QTS or equivalent, to undertake a full-time Nursery Teacher position starting from January 2020. The role is a full-time class teaching position with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30,480 - £41,483).

The school is set in Islington, North London with a diverse population, representing a rich cultural and ethnic mix. Families here face a range of challenges, including poor housing, low income, mental health problems, domestic abuse, few educational qualifications and unemployment. The special feature of the school is that despite these challenges, children make excellent progress and parents are given opportunities to develop the skills and experiences necessary to improve their lives.

For this Early Years Nursery Teacher role, the school are looking for someone who is passionate about working in the Early Years, and;
*is able to lead and inspire a committed class team;
*can support the vision, values and principles of the Nursery School and Children's Centre;
*has energy and enthusiasm to develop the Under 3s Nursery, the Extended Provision, and embrace any challenges ahead.
*is an excellent EYFS classroom practitioner with demonstrable ability to teach

This Early Years Nursery Teacher role will involve the following responsibilities:
*To carry out the professional duties of Early Years teacher
*To contribute to and be part of the learning community within the nursery school
*To encourage and support the reflective practice of colleagues
*To have high expectations and ensure every child in the nursery school achieves and makes the best possible progress

Location:
The school is located close to nearby stations Crouch Hill and Archway on the Northern line and Overground and is also a short bus journey away from National Rail services.
