Job Title: Full-Time Primary Teacher

Location: South Liverpool

About Us: Our school is a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of South Liverpool. We are dedicated to providing an enriching and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.

Job Description: As a Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students by delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that ignite a love for learning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that nurtures the individual talents and abilities of each child.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active participation and independent learning.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education to all students.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective pedagogical practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a reflective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
