We are working with a wonderful primary school in North Yorkshire that are seeking a KS2 Teacher to work in a long-term position until July 2024. The ideal candidate will be inspiring, engaging, and passionate about teaching Year 5 - Year 6 students. The school prides themselves on developing pupils learning, social, emotional, and personal development.

The job role involves the following:

  • Have high expectations for pupils' achievement, behaviour, development, and potential.
  • Some planning and marking will be involved.
  • Teach high-quality lessons that provide pupils learning opportunities.
  • Be passionate about your own professional development and be willing to explore creative approaches.
  • Encourage and nurture students.

During your time at the school, Tradewind Recruitment will be supporting you be providing you with a consultant that will assist you with any needs, CPD training through the National College, and competitive pay. The role is Monday - Friday with the daily rate of £130 - £190 (depending on teaching scale, experience, and location).

The candidate for this role will have the following:

  • QTS
  • Experience in a Primary School
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undergo one)
  • Right to work
  • Satisfactory References.
