At our organisation, we collaborate with an extensive network of schools throughout North Somerset, including locations like Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yatton, Chew Magna, Portishead, and more. We currently have exciting opportunities available for passionate educators like you, offering teaching positions in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The best part? You get to enjoy the convenience of flexible working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, starting immediately and extending into September 2024.

To be considered for this rewarding role, you'll need to meet a few essential requirements, including:

  • Holding a recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Successfully passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, ensuring your suitability to work with children.
  • Demonstrating prior experience working with primary school-aged children.
  • Being well-versed in the UK National Curriculum and possessing the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work harmoniously with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Embodying a genuine passion for teaching and a steadfast commitment to enriching the lives of young children through education.
