SEN Residential School (Autism) - Hull, Yorkshire - Permanent post - Salary based on experience between £56,579 and £67,183 - Ages 4 to 19 - 80 students on residential and day to day basis

About the School - Principal - Hull, Yorkshire
Located just outside popular Hull, this fantastic SEN residential school has been providing a high level of education to children with Autism for the past 40 years. The school caters for students between the ages of 4 and 19 and has around 80 pupils made up of a combination of residential and daily pupils. The school supports ASD students with a range of severity. Students are well supported by passionate SEN professionals who have strong understanding in how to ensure all get the very best education and opportunities. This is a happy school and great working/learning environment that should appeal to all passionate SEN educationalists. Starting in January or at the earliest opportunity possible the Trust is looking to appoint a Principal to lead this excellent school through the next stage of its development.

Role requirements - Principal - Hull, Yorkshire
*Senior Leadership experience in an SEN setting is essential although holding the post of Head Teacher or Principal is not as the school is open to seeing those looking to take the next step in their career.
*Candidates must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and those who hold either the NPQH or NPQML/SL will hold a distinct advantage.
*Residential schooling experience is not essential although again those who have worked in these settings are highly regarded.
*The ability to lead from the front in all areas of school life while maintain strong relationships and a real team ethic with your colleagues is essential.
*Further career progression opportunities are available within the trust for strong performers.
