About the role - Religious Studies NQT - Barking and Dagenham, East London

*This permanent full time Religious Studies Teacher role would suit a passionate trainee teacher who has strong subject knowledge and can teach Religious Education to all key stages.
*At Key Stage 3, the Barking and Dagenham Agreed Syllabus is taught where students study how to express their ideas and insights about the nature, significance and impact of religions.
*At Key Stage 4 the AQA Specification is taught, and at A Level the WJEX Examination syllabus is taught for philosophy and Ethics. GCSE results have been strong and in 2018 69% achieved Grades 9-4.
*The successful candidate will need to show a good track record of improvement throughout their placements, and have a relevant undergraduate degree from a good university or strong A Levels.
*Applications will only be accepted from newly qualified Religious Education Teachers who have a drive to excel in the classroom and who are prepared to work hard and engage with specialised training.
*NQTs will be paid the Inner London Wage and depending on their experience will receive MPS1-3.
