We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Science to cover a long-term maternity leave starting in June 2024, spanning a full calendar year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
- Adhere to the school's curriculum and contribute to the development of teaching materials.
- Provide full planning and marking for assigned classes.
- Accommodate any science specialism, as the timetable for the 2024 academic year is being drawn up.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Comfortable teaching mixed science at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Commitment to maintaining the school's high standards of teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Remuneration: The successful candidate can expect competitive pay rates, reflecting a daily rate ranging from £153.85 to £230.10, equivalent to an annual salary of £30,000 to £44,870. This scale is commensurate with the level of responsibility associated with the role.
Location: The school is conveniently located and easily commutable from Doncaster, Scunthorpe, and Gainsborough, providing an accessible and comfortable working environment.
