About the School - Science Teacher - Barnet, North London
*Tradewind are currently working with a Secondary school in North West London who is recruiting for a Science teacher to join in September 2019.
*The school seeks a teacher with any specialism in Science, either Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
*The school is a diverse and vibrant community with 535 students on roll from Year 7 to Year 11.
*The school has a new sixth form opening in 2020, so the opportunity to teach KS5 in the future will be available.
*The best teachers and leaders are always striving to improve and the school take price in the professional development on offer to them
*Over the last two years, results have increased dramatically from 40% to 69% of students gaining 5+ good passes including English and Maths and the Progress 8 score has improved from -0.45 to +0.41.


About the Role - Science Teacher - Barnet, North London
*This Secondary school is looking for either a Newly Qualified Science Teacher or Science teacher who has experience and able to hit the ground running.
*The school can support a teacher regardless of experience as long as they are ready to work hard.
*The Science teacher will initially only teach from KS3 - KS4 and there is potential for KS5 from September 2020.
*For NQTs, the school can offer an excellent induction programme tailored to the individual teacher's needs. The teacher will receive PPA and NQT time too.
*The successful teacher will need to have strong classroom and behaviour management with a proven track record.
*The successful teacher must have QTS and recent experience teaching in permanent roles in the UK.
