Science Teacher; Easter 2019; Bromley School.

Tradewind Recruitment require a Teacher of Science to start in the Summer term (April 2019), at this small, over-subscribed, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the edge of Bromley in South East London.

The ability to teach Science to A level would be an advantage, but applications are warmly welcomed from Key Stage 3 and 4 candidates.

We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in SE London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful candidate will show ambition and drive to instil the love of Science in students and further improve student outcomes.

Support the Faculty Director in leading our vision of an outstanding, inclusive academy with the highest standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress.
Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and to monitor the effectiveness of learning and teaching within the Faculty.

The ideal candidate for this Science Teacher role will:

An experienced, qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent and a relevant undergraduate degree) to teach across all key stages and who has excellent subject knowledge;
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning and who will expect excellence from the students;
A collaborative and motivated individual who will lead the subject through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes.

Based in the borough of Bromley; based near Hayes station and local buses and transport.
