Science Teacher - Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school located in the heart of Wolverhampton. The Science teacher must have specialism in either Chemistry or Physics but also be able to comfortably cover the whole syllabus or had experience teaching it before. The post will begin in April 2024 and last up until the end of the academic year 2024 with an opportunity to be taken on permanently by the school should it be a success.

The role:

  • Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Start Date: April 2024
  • Duration: Full Summer Term (with potential for extension into the new academic year or permanent vacancy)

The Science teacher will be expected to teach to teach to both KS3 and KS4, especially leading a group of year 11's through exam season this academic year. ECT's are welcome to apply, and it would be a great opportunity for them as pupil behaviour is excellent.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of the AQA curriculum for Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success
