Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a Science Teacher to become an integral part of Science department inside an alternative provision in York.
The role has an immediate start date if possible and has the potential to be full time as student numbers increase but would be 3 days a week initially. You will receive your own time table and would be working on a long term basis at a school that offers very tailored support to its students.

We are looking for:
· A Science Teacher who can teach across Primary and secondary age groups with strong behaviour management.
· A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
· A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.
· A Science Teacher who would like the opportunity to progress their career in alternative education settings.


Working with children from a range of backgrounds you may teach students that have EHCP plans or SEMH difficulties.
