Responsibilities:

• Providing support to students with special educational needs, particularly in a secondary school environment.
• Crafting and implementing tailored support plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Engaging in effective collaboration with educators, parents, and professionals to ensure student's needs are met.
• Delivering training and guidance to staff on effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
• Coordinating with external agencies and professionals to secure necessary support for students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Familiarity with various SEN conditions and related support strategies.
• Proficiency in managing challenging behaviours and adapting approaches to suit individual student needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders.
