Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding co-educational Secondary School who are seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their inclusion team immediately. This is a full time position that will commence immediately and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - Secondary Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*Plan and deliver learning activities matched to students' needs under direction and guidance of subject teachers
*Work closely with the subject teacher to contribute to the maintenance of an appropriate working environment
*Establish constructive relationships and communicate with relevant staff and outside agencies to support students' learning and progress
*Promote social and emotional development of students
*Identify and help remove barriers to students' progression


About the candidate - Secondary Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*The successful candidate will be someone with ideas, commitment and energy who is keenly interested in how young people learn
*An individual who is positive, committed to high standards and who will work well in an enthusiastic and supportive team
*Prior experience of working with young people with special educational needs or who have English as an additional language in a secondary setting is desirable
*This position would suit a Teaching Assistant seeking a supportive, nurturing and encouraging school or a recent graduate with experience working with children or youths who is keen to commence a career in education and who is able to make a true impact to the lives of students
