About the Role:
- Responsibilities: You will be providing dedicated support to a child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Year 2. This involves working one-on-one with the child to enhance their academic progress and emotional well-being.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with the SENCO and classroom teacher to implement tailored strategies and create a supportive learning environment for the child.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working one-on-one with vulnerable children, preferably within an educational setting, is essential.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEMH needs and effective strategies to support children with such challenges is highly desirable.
- Certification: Ideally, candidates should possess a valid DBS certificate registered with the Update Service.
