Job Overview:
Unlock an exciting opportunity as a SEN Early Years HLTA/Teacher focused on interventions. Your role involves delivering targeted lessons to a specific group of children, addressing their unique needs within a specialised curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with our specialised curriculum to support early years children with SEN.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to create and implement tailored learning plans for each child in the intervention group.
- Regularly assess and adapt teaching strategies to ensure ongoing progress for each child.
- Cultivate an inclusive learning environment, fostering active participation and social skill development.
- Engage with parents, providing regular updates on progress and offering guidance for continued support at home.
- Contribute to the school's overall SEN provision through active participation in meetings and training sessions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working with early years children with SEN.
- Proficient in SEN practices, interventions, and strategies.
- Knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Adaptive teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN.
The successful applicant will require a clear DBS check, Right to work in the UK and 2 professional references.
