This is a long-term role, starting after April half term, offering 5 days per week supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, across Key Stage 3 (KS3). Your working hours will be from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, allowing for a full day of engagement with our students.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of our inclusive community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to students with complex needs in KS3
• Assisting in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans
• Supporting students in understanding and overcoming their barriers to learning
• Encouraging self-regulation and reflective practices to improve behaviours
• Fostering a sense of pride in their achievements and curiosity in the world
• Making learning a two-way process and encouraging responsibility in their learning journey
• Creating a fun and engaging learning environment to spark their love for learning
