Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join this Primary School starting in September.

This is a full time, long-term role for the entire academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The School:

The Primary school is creating an additional class to help support and develop SEN pupils across KS1 and KS2.

The class will hold between 6-12 children maximum. Pupils will also join in with day to day school life and integrate into mainstream classes according to their individual levels of need.

As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
  • Support behaviour by following the children's plans
  • Updating and setting targets for children.
  • Working closely with the school SENCO.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience Teaching within SEND
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
